Alahai New Year...

Countdown 5,4,3,2,1 New Year! New Year! What is the fuss? What the heck! No hard feelings for those new year dwellers out there. For me, New Year is just another day that goes by … no hurrah or having any intention to be one of the city revelers. As seen and read from the newspapers.. lots of leftovers on the streets.. What else? Garbage here and there…and walllaaaa comes tomorrow everything is back to normal!

New Year and family…
May Allah bless us and family.

New Year and friends…
May our friendship blossom and last. Well done for the new blog page ! Busy like a bee? Notwithstanding with our busy schedule juggling in between work, family and friends, I just wonder whether there will be an opportunity for us to meet up after these so many years. Any takers?

New Year and challenges…
I believe prudent is the best word for the coming challenging economic climate. Resilient is another good word. As someone pointed in this blog, employees in the private sector will feel the pinch of any uncertainties in the economy while employees in the public sector is believe not to be affected. Beg to differ..yes employment wise maybe..but other aspects everyone need to tighten their belts and those people in the govt might need to crack their head (not to mention politics involved) to think of the best solution for the nation be it in economic crisis or others. The news headline in our country may not be that overwhelm with negative coverage of the economy but I believe everyone should read in between the line. Most Malaysian like their Singaporean sisters are kiasu..hee.hee…negative highlights might create unnecessary panic. For instance, when the government announce the increase in petrol price...many people participated in the long queue to purchase the petrol before midnight and that includes my hubby (ha ha ha) who join in the queue and decided quitting halfway through. My only hope is that we could withstand all this challenges ahead insyallah…

Have a good weekend! Salam.

It may sound sad to you that some people a.k.a. me, still enjoys spending new year's eve party...to be honest really, it's not so much about the new year thingy but rather it's really one of those rare moments, that I could actually meet up with friends who are always busy the rest of the time....

I would actually love to meet up with everyone after all these years...basically, just to see who has grown fat and all! But most importantly, to see if we have grown any wiser...
